I carve each skateboard by hand, from a piece of red oak.
They are a direct reference to the early days of skateboarding, before the swimming pools and half pipes, to the days when kids were cutting boards by hand and repurposing roller skates.
The designs of our boards are classic and simple. The grain of the oak is the most important element and I treat each board like a a painting, with the main compositional element being where the grain falls.
I plane our boards down to 5/8ths of an inch, the perfect balance of weight and strength. They feel good in your hands.
We use 89mm Tracker Dart trucks and the narrow stance turns a street corner with ease, We use 65mm wheels, ABEC 7 bearings and ¼ in risers.
We are committed to hand made and American made and everything but the wheels are made here in California.
